This page covers the website you are reading. It sets no cookies, cannot tell who you are, and asks for your details in exactly one place — the enquiry form. Last updated 2 September 2026.
Who we are
One business, one mailbox, two processors.
The business behind this site.
Sprout is an Australian business making school operations software. Enquiries made through this website reach us at hello@sproutos.com.au, which is also the address to use for anything on this page.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Only what you type into the form.
The enquiry form, and nothing else.
When you submit an enquiry or ask about the trial, we receive what you entered: your name, your role, your school, an approximate number of students, your email address, and — on the trial form — your phone number, your state, and when your next placement round runs. The message box is free text, so it contains whatever you chose to write in it.
Please do not put student details, staff records or anything sensitive in that box. It is a sales enquiry form, and it is not the right place for information about a child.
We do not ask for anything else. The only thing gathered in the background is the page count described below, which is a total and not a record of you.
Cookies and tracking
No cookies, and one thing counted.
No cookies. No third-party requests. One counter.
This site sets no cookies. It runs no tag manager, no heat mapping, no advertising pixels and no session recording. It loads no fonts, scripts, images or embeds from anyone else’s servers — everything it needs is served from this domain.
What it does do is count. We use Vercel Web Analytics to record that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, and which site linked here — so we can tell which pages are worth writing and which are not. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device, and produces a total rather than a trail: there is no visitor record, no session to follow, and nothing that can be traced back to you or to your school. We do not use any service that tries to work out which organisation a visitor belongs to.
That means no consent banner, because there is nothing stored on your device to consent to. It also means you can still verify most of this rather than take our word for it: open your browser’s storage inspector on any page here and you will find no cookies, and the only script the site loads is served from this domain.
What happens to it
It becomes an email. That is the whole mechanism.
Your enquiry becomes one email.
When you submit the form, the details are turned into a single email and delivered to our mailbox. The website itself stores nothing: there is no database behind this site, no customer record created, and no profile built. We use what you send to reply to you, to answer your questions, and to arrange a walkthrough or a trial if that is what you asked for.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing to people who have not asked for it. We never sell, rent or trade personal information, and your enquiry is not shared outside the people who answer it.
Where it goes
Served in Sydney; delivered by a US provider.
Hosting and the one provider involved.
This website is hosted on Vercel and served from its Sydney region. Email delivery for the enquiry form is handled by Resend, which processes the message in order to send it. Resend is based in the United States, so submitting the form involves your details being handled overseas by that provider in the course of delivering the email. Both companies act as our processors and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
The “Australian-hosted, in Sydney” commitment described elsewhere on this site refers to the Sprout applications and the school data they hold. Those run under a separate agreement with each school, and this page does not describe them. They are covered by the Sprout OS app privacy policy.
How long we keep it
As long as the conversation is live, and no longer than you want.
Retention, access and deletion.
Your enquiry stays in our mailbox while we are talking, and afterwards as a record of that conversation. We review enquiries each year and delete any that are more than two years old and have not led to a conversation.
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@sproutos.com.au and we will do it — deletion included, without asking you to justify the request.
Security
Small surface, kept small.
How it is protected.
The site is served over HTTPS only. The enquiry form posts to our own server rather than to a third-party form service, and the submission is not written to disk on our server. Access to the mailbox is limited to the people who answer enquiries.
No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can say is that the amount of information this site collects, and the number of places it goes, are both deliberately small.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
If we change this page, the date at the top changes with it.
